Innocent Grey Announces premium box PARANOIA

igparanoia

Seems like this place is slowly turning into a Japanese dating-sim site... need to sneak in more indie content! But before that...

Innocent Grey mentioned a while ago that there is going to be a big announcement, they also mentioned on their blog about some kind of compilation being released in the second half of the year. Putting the two together and we have Innocent Grey premium box - PARANOIA, a compilation of IG's first four games: Cartagra (the classic), Pianissimo (out-of-place here), Nagomibako (the Cartagra fandisc), and last but not least Kara no Shojo (that which has horrible script). IG's latest work, Caucasus, is not included in the package.

Front Wing Announces New Project - Le Fruit De La Grisaia

grisaia

Front Wing has announced a new game called Le Fruit De La Grisaia (グリザイアの果実, or The Fruit Of The Grisaia) (looks like part of Front Wing's 10th Anniversary celebration). According to the announcement, the game will be released this winter.

Multiple authors and artists will be working on the the scenario and art. For scenario, there's Fujisaki Ryuuta (!!!), Kaduya, and Kio Nachi (scenario writer for Nekonekosoft and Cottonsoft), while the art department will see the likes of Fumio (Hoshiuta, Tomoyo After) and Watanabe Akio (Bakemonogatari anyone?). Expecting a great story (this is probably the strongest scenario lineup ever for a Front Wing works) and amazing artworks.

Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~ Sells Many Copies, Light Celebrates

diesirae50k

According to Light, sales of Dies irae has exceeded 50,000, not bad. To celebrate, a special Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~ package will be released on 9/24.

The Thank-You Campaign package will come with the game itself, as well as a Drama CD containing short stories of everyone's favorite couple Lotus and Rusalka, more reason to add a Rusalka route... wishful thinking right there.

Fate/Extra Extravaganza, the Year of Type-Moon

fateextra

This is a great year to be a Type-Moon fan. Why? First and foremost, Mahou Tsukai no Yoru is coming out on September 30th (the Type-Moon website got a facelift as well), which just happens to be the same day that the DVD of the Unlimited Blade Works film is released, coincidence? Either way, it has been five years since the last major original Type-Moon product, Fate/hollow ataraxia (well, it technically was still just a fandisc, but I think its quality and size merits this) hit the stores, no more milking their existing properties (okay, so the Rakkyo films were a nice treat), yay!

According to Nasu, there will be three parts to Mahoyo. Part one, the one that will come out this September, is based on the story written by Nasu before Tsukihime, while the next two parts will be all new content. Looking at Type-Moon's past release record, I wonder how long it'll be before the fans can finally see the last part, that, and Tsukihime 2... (considering there are still fans patiently waiting for news of DDD volume 3).

Dies irae Final Final Complete Version Finally Released

diesirae

On December 25th (Merry Christmas!), Light released the final (and supposedly complete) version of its Dies irae game, Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~.

The complete version comes with two new routes, including the long-awaited Kei route (yay!), but is still missing a Rusalka route (boo!), which can't really be helped on some levels. However, due to the various release of this game, it seems which version contains what is becoming a bit confusing... so here is a small post that will hopefully clear things up.

First of all, let's take a look at all the versions of the game currently out there:
