Bye Bye Forum, Hello Tidbits

in

Anyone who bothered to browse our old BBS knows how it's a spam disaster... to turn it into something more useful, we decided to bring back the Tidbits! Tidbits was a feature mG had in its early days, where instead of full-blown posts, we'd post interesting one-liners and links, so it's shorter than regular posts but is updated much more frequently. It was nuked a while ago when we upgraded the site.

The difference now is that it should be much easier to post tidbits thanks to WordPress and P2. Hopefully it can turn into something useful.

From Dyson to Eufloria, Happy New Year!

Happy new year! Will I be updating this site more often in 2010? Don't know, I can only hope!

Speaking of which, I have once again moved the site back to miscgamer.com. This is it, no more domain-hopping, no more redirects, this will be the site's eternal resting place until the end of time.

I also moved the World of Goo sub-page here. So this is how everything is going to work from now on. Basically, any games (indie, probably) that I play and end up liking (and I mean REALLY LIKING) will get its own fan-shrine at miscgamer.com/[really-cool-game]/, while companies and larger games series or trends will get their own sub-domain, like Innocent Grey (TYPE-MOON is a special case, so it gets its own site).

Anyways, with that out of the way, allow me to introduce our newest member to the "really-good-indie-game-that-you-should-at-least-try club: Eufloria!

And...We're Back! Momohime and Tentacles!

Yes! After months of inactivity, we're finally back! A few changes here and there though...first of all, we're no longer miscGamer! We are now Eclipse, woot! For now, the mG site will redirect to the new URL. The reason behind the change is... I no longer feel like making big, ambitious "do-all" sites anymore, all I want now is just a small blog where I post about interesting things, such as various kinds of games and so on.

So from now on, what you'll find here will likely include ramblings on indie games, doujin games, visual novels, Type-Moon, manga, anime, otaku stuff in general, and more games. So yeah, Eclipse is still going to focus primarily on games, but expect other goodies as well.

Still Alive...

Yup, this site has not been abandoned :)

Some changes are being made...things should go back to normal after this summer.
